Introduction: Understanding British Justice from the outset requires an understanding that despite of common belief Great Britain has written Constitutional Acts that surround the Monarch who is Head of State not only of the Nation but also what is described as Anglicana Ecclesia. These acts have given freedom of choice for centuries not only to our nation but to the whole world, so many legal systems being based on these to bring fairness and justice rather than suppression and overzealous application of legalism.

Great Britain therefore clearly has written Constitutional Acts around the Monarch but more important than this, these are designed to be spoken out so we have more than a written Constitution, we have a spoken one and the significance of this will be made clear!

We will undoubtedly prove that compromising our Constitutional Acts seriously has affected the peace and harmony the British people long for not only for ourselves but also for the whole world in danger of coming under a global order of communism that suppresses free choice.

The British Constitutional Acts given under God respect the freedom of choice communism rejects and because of the demand to apply law with law and justice in mercy, judges who represent the Monarch in our courts are required to be wise not under regulation and rule but under the heart of the Monarch who is called to apply law mercifully.

Since the beginning of coming under Brussels control we have had laws undemocratically forced upon us causing much heartache and suffering to so many. The history of British justice does not relate at all to the Corpus Juris of Europe, our history demanding evidence rather than suspicion and perception, a hallmark of the EU system and more importantly we will prove that in our justice system spirituality has preference over the temporal, a very important point for this deals with underlying factors not seen by the outward appearance. This is why the Bible places wisdom above knowledge, it being our history to have bank managers in our local communities having local knowledge – yes – but more importantly being able to make decisions with wisdom, a factor computer technology cannot provide. This applies to all aspects of life and it is the aim of this course to bring this wisdom to our nation to bring change from the order of the establishment to those who look for us to return to the foundations our fathers have set.

Now, the Bible is given major prominence with British Justice. For centuries it has been sworn on in our courts and it is referred to in the Coronation Service as the most valuable book this world affords so I make no apology for referring to this continuously – but it is far more than a written book, it is designed to be spoken out literally as led by the Spirit of God which is the whole heart of our Coronation Service.

By returning to this spirituality or virtue as it is referred to in our 1534 Act of Supremacy we can have a nation at peace with itself, able to move on and prosper. It is not a form of religious suppression, quite the opposite in fact – it is freedom for the Spirit brings LIFE and LIFE in abundance, the whole heart of the Gospel the Monarch is on oath to uphold.

Before reading the 1534 Act of Supremacy: Understanding two Greek words that mean “word” will really help in understanding the virtue that is clearly emphasized in the Act. These two words are essential for understanding Great Britain’s Constitutional Acts which primarily are spiritual in presentation – logos and rhema .

According to Vine’s Expository the word logos in our context here means an expression of thought, a conception, idea, saying, statement by God:

We understand therefore that logos used here means literally WRITTEN WORD. In the context therefore of our Constitutional Acts THEY ARE WRITTEN but like the Word of God there is so much more to come and that comes with the word rhema.

According to Vine’s Expository the word rhema in our context here means word that is spoken within the understanding of the Act of Supremacy with virtue. Referring to Ephesians 6, Vine refers to rhema (as distinct from logos) as exemplified in the injunction to take “the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,” and to quote the reference is not to the whole Bible as such, but to the individual scripture which the Spirit brings to our remembrance for use in time of need, a prerequisite being the regular storing of the mind with scripture.

We show from the Act of Supremacy that British Justice is justice of the heart rather than the letter, and that because of the demand for virtue in relation to the ultimate Supremacy in our country, then we have a nation with a Monarch who proclaims our Constitution in her Constitutional Oath applying law with law and justice in mercy.

Coming from this verse is a principle of covenant above the law and this is the heart of British Justice, well different than the avenues of utilitarianism that has infected British law. As we will see later in this edition of the Constitution Keeper in our victory over the banks, what had crept into British law was a human philosophy known as utilitarianism famously embraced by Jeremy Bentham and JS Mill, the Oxford Dictionary expressing the major difficulty in the philosophy in that it compromises equality and justice.

A nation divided is one that has forsaken covenant with its God and Queen Elizabeth I knew this in her restoration of this act to the statute book in 1559. To understand the act however one has to move way beyond human thinking to understand that it is not God’s will to be far off from us – but to be with us and in us in our everyday decisions. The new President has commented that he has noted the catastrophic effects of the collapse of moral values under socialist rule. He notes that like Britain and the USA, Brazil has seen an outpouring on the streets of “Gay Pride” campaigns and the promotion of homosexuality and transgenderism in schools to the cost of the crime rate soaring.

In the days before the Act of Supremacy of 1534, Priests were regarded as people that did not have to honour the law of a land and so with this act in the 1500’s we have an understanding developing of the Royal Priesthood of Believers where no man was seen as more important than the next. During the Referendum campaign I was on a farm near Ruthin, North Wales, writes David P Griffiths, with Rt Hons Chris Grayling and David Jones, both clearly caring politicians who genuinely appreciate the battles of everyday people. The cry from the farm’s administrator was that in the past under British law we received help from government but that now with the EU there was a feeling that they were criminals rather than farmers. This is because EU law lacks the heart that British Justice gives and it is with this heart we look to return our country back to normality.

It is my view that a nation has to work together as a united team, supporting and caring for one another recognizing individual strengths and weaknesses, thus we have a very precious Act here that gives us just that, the act clearly giving the Church the lead in this, the Monarch not only being Head of State but of the National church too.

The obligations of this act are as follows:

1) Increase in virtue (anointing) of Christ’s Religion. As we look to return the nation back to the heart of British Justice it is very important to understand the word virtue as it comes right at the beginning of this Constitutional Act.

To gain understanding we look at this word alongside understanding of what it means to have a Constitution which Great Britain undoubtedly has.

This letter of Peter is addressed to the Church and within the context of our Constitutional Acts Church and State are together so we can therefore take scripture as the Monarch took scripture in the Coronation Service. We therefore can conclude that not only virtue is required in this equation but also glory! This having escaped corruption, endemic within the EU for their law making lacked this virtue so required in British law. Above all this is the requirement to be partakers of Christ’s divine nature. What a difference that would bring to Parliament for we would have Parliamentarians of self-sacrifice and commitment on all sides rather than those who see the vocation as a career in the interests of selfish lust and self-satisfaction.

Under the EU we have lived in a pessimistic, over-regulated and suppressed society but here with our own Constitutional Acts we have a vibrant alternative. The people are fed up with politicians who know everything with their self-righteous pronouncements that have led to austerity and fear. Here is a real alternative to this by honouring the God of our Constitutional Acts who calls us to give all diligence, adding to our faith virtue and to our virtue knowledge, in that order. What has happened in our educational system is the pursuit of knowledge without virtue leaving us a virtue-less society without moral fibre that has been crumbling all around us. So what is faith?

Too often politicians as the Chilcott Enquiry has shown have taken opinion from the natural sight. Iraq was and still is a deeply spiritual country and understanding was and is required of the spiritual climate as well as that of the temporal. There is a depth required to run a country, a country that has its politicians as law makers understanding the cries of society, instilling faith into the hearts of the people with a God given optimism and determination to succeed by obeying God. Surely this is what prospers a nation and places it in good health.

In this obedience to God comes a fairness, an equality in society with its members able to flourish in a climate that is not just about wealth creation but about being prepared to give to the less fortunate in generosity, love and care. This is the context of our Coronation Service placing great emphasis on our Commonwealth and from our new found prosperity having left the chains of the EU we need a vision for our whole Commonwealth to flourish, common-wealth literally meaning what it says!

Our final scripture on virtue shows this to be a being rather than a thing for Jesus felt virtue go out of him meaning THE SPIRIT which is why our highest court is THE LORDS SPIRITUAL AND TEMPORAL with the SPIRIT COMING FIRST, the Spirit bringing healing AND LIFE, the letter destroying as we have found with the EU. This is the nature of British Justice in that the heart, the root comes to the fore first, a reason why so many cases have been flawed during the EU years for the heart has been removed in favour of alien philosophy. It is time now to return THE LIFE, THE HEART above the letter that killeth.

This is why in our Coronation Oath law is instructed to be applied with law and justice in mercy, a provision not available under EU law but in British Justice a demand of service on all judges, our judges and other government services being bound by law rather than the liberty of the Spirit, the heart which by law they are bound to move by. It is this that has changed since EU membership and it will take a time of de-programming to bring our nation back to its root of LIFE!

It is therefore the heart of the 1534 Act of Supremacy to have a nation of the SPIRIT FIRST with virtue streaming from our portals of power, such virtue that heals the broken-hearted to such a degree that our nation can be a shining light of justice to the world rather than the suppressed entity it has been for too long!

There is now opportunity in Britain to return to being a caring, loving society, loving our neighbour, embracing the ethos of the Good Samaritan in that he could be anyone from whatever ethnic background, colour or creed who saves one’s life by the wayside and with that heart in mind we can bring our nation back to a unity under the Supremacy of God, with those at the helm operating with loving virtue understanding that it is with the heart we believe unto righteousness.

2) Repress and extirpate all errors, heresies, and other enormities and abuses.

Thomas Stephen’s Book of the Constitution of Great Britain reminds us that this Act was given within the context of Britain having been subject to a foreign power, at this time Rome rather than the Treaty of Rome. Henry VIII was determined to see that this would never happen again, thus the European treaties had become a threat to this Supremacy with their taking out of the Supremacy of God, remembering the whole ethos here being in virtue, that is an out-going God actually living in the hearts of believers. The believers were to become the manifestation of God so we have a spoken as well as written Constitution, a Constitution to be applied with virtue, rather than the letter which is the hallmark of the EU.

It is my view therefore that the errors, heresies, and other enormities and abuses intimated here relate to a foreign power looking to question the individual sovereignty of a nation that is instructed to be repressed here.

Now to understand the theological position here, one has to answer the question as to where the Supremacy of the Act actually lies. Thomas Stephen concurs that with the Church of Scotland the Church of England has traditionally stood for the fact that there is no other head of the Church but the Lord Jesus Christ, the supremacy of the crown being of a temporal nature confined to civil government of clergy and laity. However, I seek to differ from Stephen for I believe there is something far deeper here in understanding our precious Constitutional Acts.

The question Jesus was asking here is fundamental to the understanding of our Constitutional Acts for within this text is the true understanding of them. Firstly, the Christ was asking the opinion of humankind. Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? The answer that came was in a variety of human opinion, the blessing however coming to Peter for his reply had come with virtue, that special ingredient that comes with a God given answer, a God given reply which is exactly the reason why the Lords Spiritual and Temporal was set up, to give decisions with virtue, virtue that gives stability rather than the inconsistencies of human thought which is only temporal. What our nation needs is stability and consistency to overcome today’s major questions, politicians of the heart above those of ever-changing opinion.

From this position came supremacy to Peter in Christ’s Name, not his own name as the Apostle Paul clearly intimated.

We discover from this that the faith required in this Act of Supremacy is not of human origin but of the Christ that liveth in us. Is this not clear in Matthew 16? Roman Catholicism has traditionally taught that the rock intimated here is Peter whilst Protestants have declared Christ – but with due respect to all I have to say the conclusion is wrong on all sides, the correct answer being relevant in understanding this Act of Supremacy for who is supreme?

The Christ that is shown as “the rock”, the stability on which the church was to be built was the Christ that was to become the inward strength of believers for thus followed the actual supremacy, the keys of authority that includes the ability to bind and to loose not only in the heavenly realm but also on earth and it is with this that the authority and stability lies. This is the history that made Britain great!

3) The Monarch to act in the line of repressing the extremities that are religiously affecting the nation. Religious extremism from all sides is perhaps the biggest threat affecting our nation, as it was in Jesus’ time on earth. Whenever he looked to bring LIFE, religious suppressives would be knocking on his door looking to pull down the virtue he was operating by.

Jesus’s response was uncompromising and it is this example that in my view is coming out of this precious Act restored by Queen Elizabeth I. In Britain today, the people have been afraid of religious extremists, not those who are extreme in their love for others but towards those who are so religiously bound they look to do harm to those of opposite view.

All our Constitutional Acts are choice giving, protecting the right of the individual to make that choice even to the point of choosing other gods including secular humanism. What is demanded in these acts is respect to what they stand for and to the Monarch who is there to uphold them in the nation, all government employees being bound to protect their principles. Sadly since EU membership this has broken down but can now be restored.

What the Act does demand however is a repression of religious extremism from self-righteous organizations that look down on others even to the point of bringing death and harm rather than healthy dialogue.

Jesus faced this every day and it was these individuals who brought the conditions for his crucifixion. Day by day Jesus faced a religious establishment that was binding and fierce, placing heavy burden on the shoulders of humankind. The establishment as it has been in an EU dominated Britain occupied a self-righteous seat over-flowing with corruption.

The servant heart of Christ comes out in the following passage and it is this that is coming out of this Act of Supremacy, that even though we have a Monarch who constitutionally is to have Christ within him/her, this Monarch is not to use this supremacy in a binding way, quite the contrary for the calling here is to serve the people.

Jesus declared that whosoever should be the greatest amongst the people should be the people’s servant, an important lesson for career minded politicians for it is to be the humble who are exalted rather than those who build themselves to be somebody amidst the people.

This is why at this time it is people of the heart who are coming to the fore, those with the inward passion for social justice and care, giving everyone a chance. It is those of religious orders that suppress all this looking to bind people into their clutches, to instruct them into their ways of self-righteousness that make them even more religiously bound than themselves! It happens all the time, and within this must come the earlier warning through Jesus of vain repetition. We must not allow these Constitutional Acts and related oaths to them to be of vain repetition. We must not allow the Parliamentary Oath to be of routine and neither must we allow the prayers before each law making session to be of repetition – what the country is requiring is government officials of the heart primarily rather than Pharisaic hypocrites which for years have done our country great harm.

Indeed the virtue required must come out again the Apostle Paul informing us of our own inability to pray, this being the work of the Spirit – just saying the words of an oath, or going through written prayers parrot-fashion is not accepted by God for this has to come by surrender to the Spirit to allow God to use his empty vessel.

As we have discovered it is one thing to have the logos, another the rhema, for the latter requires the commitment, humility and servanthood required for government office. Looking for a natural order first rather than a spiritual one is strictly forbidden in this Act of Supremacy and as Jesus did we must vigorously repress it.

4) To conserve the peace, unity and tranquillity of the realm.

The concern of the act is primarily to ascertain the Supremacy of Great Britain and who was to be the Head of this, and this through the word virtue we have discovered, but there is a further concern in that the act was not only designed to remove foreign interference in our affairs then but in my view also forever. This has been the big error of EU law upon us where Henry VIII looked to counteract the Papal interference of Rome, we today are now counteracting the interference into our affairs from not only the Treaty of Rome but the many treaties that followed it.

It needs to be understood that there is a question here in relation to the authorship of this act, the act being written with a very high authority of virtue, within the context of the removal of foreign interference in the nation’s affairs so it is my view under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost that Thomas Cromwell wrote this act.

On hand he had the King’s demand for supremacy and on the other hand knowing that it was God who needed to be in control. The ideal solution therefore to keep the peace, unity and tranquillity of the realm was to take the Supremacy out of man’s hands and directly into God’s, to God’s on earth in the heart of the Monarch – for it was to be a spiritual covenant with God that was to bring the unity and tranquillity, and so after BREXIT I put forward this needs to be the case again, our present Monarch as Head of State already sworn to this ideal.

To support my argument in relation to authorship, Henry appointed Thomas Cromwell at the end of 1534 as his Vice Regent in spiritual affairs, in effect handing over the powers of supremacy to a spiritual man Thomas Cromwell, he then enacting this supremacy in keeping clergy in line with the ideal of keeping unity in the realm, whilst at the same time ridding the nation of foreign interference. http://www.thereformation.info/thomas_cromwell.htm

Today, with a Anglican community hopelessly split within its ranks there is such a need for a Thomas Cromwell today to step forward and return this community back to these reformist roots in not only bringing unity within its own ranks but also to the nation as a whole, for this Act of Supremacy clearly places this obligation on the Canterbury authority.

For centuries therefore those moving in this supremacy and that included all clergy who understood the point of the act could claim immunity from prosecution, there being obligation on this clergy to manifest the virtue required to unify and bring peace to the nation. Why do I say this? It is clear from history that Henry VIII was a fiery character determined to grasp all authority from a foreign power likely in his own name as King. It is my view that Thomas Cromwell in writing the act knew this but was determined for all time that there be a clergy of the Church of England who would be walking in the holy paths of God. This would involve supporting a Monarch who truly knew the Christian obligation of surrender to a sovereign God, for the way the act is worded did not give supremacy to Henry at all. It gave supremacy to a Monarch so surrendered to God, to a Monarch operating as an empty vessel of God so that it would be God’s ideals coming to the forefront of our society.

In effect therefore if my theory is right, and I am convinced it is – it is therefore true to say that Cromwell was looking ahead prophetically towards that ideal. Supporting my view historically is what happened through Queen Elizabeth I and her Coming Settlement that not only restored this Act of Supremacy to the Statute Book but increased its power, power that needs to manifest strongly today POST BREXIT, for what has happened is the same, we have been released from a foreign power and I believe we now need to give the supremacy back to God, to God in the hearts of believers, the Monarch leading the way as an example to the whole nation to bring peace, unity and tranquillity. Why else would we be having prayers before each Parliamentary Session if that was not the case? By praying first in effect we are putting God first in the law making!

5) To repress the infiltration of foreign laws and systems into our nation.

Perhaps the most important part of the BREXIT campaign was the fact that foreign powers were implementing their law on an accepting Great Britain. The actual amount of legislation is disputed leading up to about 70% of our laws coming from an un-democratic EU.

A House of Commons research paper dated 13th. October 2010 was written in an attempt to answer the question as to how much Britain’s legislation was EU or EU influenced. Whatever the answer, this Act of Supremacy in effect brings question as to the legality of such an approach, for the injunction against such activity is very clear. Indeed it raises the question as to whether the individuals who in effect have planted on Britain such legislation are in effect by breaking this act guilty of high treason.

In the UK data suggest that from 1997 to 2009 6.8% of primary legislation (Statutes) and 14.1% of secondary legislation (Statutory Instruments) had a role in implementing EU obligations, although the degree of involvement varied from passing reference to explicit implementation. Estimates of the proportion of national laws based on EU laws in other EU Member States vary widely, ranging from around 6% to 84%. A clear objective is shown here in Jacque Delors’ prediction and we witness all around us the effect of such an approach, Vote Leavers on street stalls, on which I was one, witnessed time after time an alienation from Brussels, a feeling that we could no longer vote in Parliamentarians who take up their constitutional role in making laws in the name of British justice, for now we were under to un-democratically placed European officials. One could feel the resentment of this, BREXIT bringing an opportunity to return to our own heritage of freedom rather than the effect of past European dictatorships.

The paper refers to the European Communities Act 1972 that enabled Government to implement either primary or secondary EU law. The paper brings out how this has affected a further main issue of the BREXIT campaign, one of immigration, immigration seen by many members of the public as being out of control.

The majority of views given on our VOTE LEAVE street stalls was a desire for controlled immigration, it being perceived that the matter was out of hand, and that some immigrants who had settled here wanted to take over our way of life rather than embrace the heritage and culture of Great Britain.

It was clearly viewed that it should be Parliament who decide such matters, but Parliament it seems from this research paper had given away such powers. It was also viewed by many that those who settle here should certainly embrace our heritage, justice system and law – indeed it is clear Biblical ethos that our Constitutional Acts are not solely for British people but for all, and those willing to embrace them should be made welcome in our nation, there being clear concern however on how far our services could take un-controlled immigration.

In Great Britain however we have traditionally embraced our Commonwealth after Empire Days and equal partners in a covenantal relationship clearly precious to our Monarch, so by voting BREXIT Great Britain in no way was voting to be isolationist, quite the contrary but to be part of an open trading world, sharing our experiences and supporting one another for mutual benefit. Indeed, the Christian faith that is at the root of our Constitutional Acts is open and embracing to all.

From the late 1980's until the 2010's child sexual abuse in effect was mostly unchallenged in this town, another example of the criminal being protected and the righteous attacked.
